Senior Adult Ministries

Just because you are a little older in life, does not mean that you cannot be active in your senior years.  Moses led God’s people out of Egypt at the age of 80,  Abraham raised children after the of 127 and  Noah built the ark at 600 years old!  These men were never too old to be used for God’s Kingdom.  Rest assured, we have a place for you.

First Baptist Church has an active Senior Ministry.  Our seniors meet twice a month for a morning Bible Study, followed by a lunch outing.  Many of these stay active on church committees such as Bereavement Committee, Kitchen Committee and Evangelism Committee just to name a few.

We are truly blessed to have our seniors active and involved.  They are an older generation that are teaching the younger generations about simpler times of years past.  They are using biblical foundations to advise the younger groups on how to approach the years to come.

The seniors meet in the one story building behind the Fellowship Hall.  They will be happy to receive you on Sunday Mornings at 9:45 am.
